| Responsibilities |
Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Finance, the role will be split equally among continuous disclosure review, policy projects and prospectus review. Details:
• Analyze continuous disclosure documents, prospectuses, financial statements, AIFs, MD&A, and associated documentation filed under the Securities Act
• Analyze and evaluate novel securities to determine is special disclosure is necessary to explain the features and risks associated with such investments
• Identify public interest concerns
• Make recommendations to management around whether a receipt for a prospectus should be issued
• Rule and policy development
• May also participate in, or lead special projects |
| Requirements |
MANDATORY
- A Canadian CA designation with at least 1 year of post-letters work experience
- Strong recent Canadian GAAP and technical familiarity with the Handbook
- Financial reporting experience with Canadian publicly traded corporations.
- An interest in more independent/solitary work versus highly interactive team work
NICE TO HAVE
- Interest in the Canadian Securities Course / CFA designation.
- Oil & Gas industry experience |
